The beginning. Before everything is neatly arranged, the stories are written and the finishing touches are in place.
Most people would wait until everything was ready.
I thought, why?
Besides, knowing me, I’d probably come up with another dozen ideas before I’d finished the first.
And we’d never get anywhere!
So here we are. You’ve caught me right at the beginning.
I’m Rodney, by the way.
I have a habit of noticing things. Funny little things. Beautiful things. Things that make absolutely no sense until you stop and look again.
Sometimes I’ll head out with a camera and come home with a story I never expected to find.
Other times, a simple cup of coffee turns into a wonderful conversation.
And occasionally, everything goes completely pear-shaped.
Those stories can be the best ones!
But life isn’t always a laugh.
Sometimes a stranger’s kindness can stop you in your tracks. A photograph can bring back a memory. Or a few words can touch something deep inside.
I love those moments too.
Life has a funny way of surprising us. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.
That’s the spirit of Meandering Mindz.
A little laughter, a little heart, and plenty of surprises along the way.
And there’s room for you too.
